This is a Butch Vallotton "California legal" scale release automatic knife. Linerlock. Stainless damascus blade & bolsters with MOP scales. 2" blade; OAL 4 1/2" Lots of filework and 14k gold butterfly "thumbstud".
I am the original owner, purchased around 2000-2001. Marked "Vallotton Knives" on one side and "CA #14" on the other. Knife is mint and never used. Because it is over 10 years old, I just sent the knife back to Butch for a servicing. She's crisp and ready to roll......
