Good Afternoon,
This blade is 5/32" thick full flat ground and hand sanded to 1500 before it got a nice deep etch in the acid. The material is wrought iron, pure nickle and a pattern weld 1084/15n20.
I think this would make a good camp knife and at 5/32" with the tall flat grind it does really well in the kitchen. It has a more stout edge than a kitchen knife with a convex so it performs well in wood also. The balance is really nice at just in front of the end of the handle and the handle contours turned out really comfortable.
The handle is terrotuff that I etched with the steel which gives it a really nice look and texture.
The sheath is leather.
Price $550 , shipping is included to continental United States via USPS. Preferred payment is via paypal.
