Butterfly knives, addiction?

I remember fondly the first day I was exposed to a balisong. It was actually a hand drawing of one with the Benchmade Butterfly logo in the background. The knife balde was was pointing up and the handles were seperated in the open position. (like the triple aught logo is the best way to describe it without a pic).

Anyways, teh design fascinated me and I saw an ad for one in a magazine, sent off a money order and when I received it, I carried nothing else for 16 years. I personally think that a quality balisong is the ultimate survival knife because there isnt a whole lot you can't do with one.

Besides, flipping the bali is damn relaxing.

Better than those "Sounds of Nature" tapes with moaning whales.

Amen, just yesterday I sprained my ankle pretty bad, it's like a half an orange is stuck on the side of my ankle is so swollen. I need to flip a bali, it helps keep my mind off of how much my ankle hurts plus it is fun (balisongs are fun, not a sprained ankle).
