Hello knife enthusiasts!

Let me to show to You my latest creation, button release automatic with button lock. There was lot of developing and many working hours, but I am absolutely happy with the result!

This knife is button release automatic with button lock. Knife got blade made of PM RWL34 stainless steel, tempered to 60RC. Blade got nice hand rubbed satin finish at all flats. There is titanium frame, bolsters and liners are milled out of one piece. Used springs are stainless. All metal parts in lock are hardened.(pivot pin, stop pin, locking barrel). There is absolutely zero blade play. Handle is made of nice pieces of mammoth ivory. In Ivory are used DLC coated screws, other visible screws are TiN coated (gold colour). Also backspacer and launch button are made of titanium.

I'm personally not a big fan of the colors or texture of mammoth ivory, but the quality of the workmanship seems obvious and I love the simple, clean lines. Looks like a fantastic, versatile design that's been very well executed.

Yup, I sure do like it! That folder is a beaut and full of win, imo...:cool:

It is very lovely and obviously operates flawlessly. Very nicely done

My one concern - which may not be an issue - but just from watching the video I wonder - if the release button should have been recessed deeper into the frame. It appears to be just a bit proud. Won't that allow for accidental release? Of course in order to make it deeper the entire knife would need to be thicker and that seems impractical. Will you offer it with a sheath?

Still - please read my first sentence. I really like it.

Sweet Knife
the colors work so well with that mammoth scale it is very classy looking

Hello, appreciate Your kind words guys.

Ray, thanks for your criticism. During making this one I worked with five different springs for button and three button heads. Now I can not imagine that the knife opens itself in a pocket.

However next ones will be equiped with secondary lock for button.

Nice leather sheath is a good idea man! Unfortunately out of my possibilities now.

I am not concerned then either. Lucky new owner. If the next or others are as pretty as this one I'll be stepping up to get one. These are really exquisite.

Awesome looking knife!

I'm not familiar with the steel. How does it compare to S30V or 154CM?

If I recall correctly it's a powdered metallurgy version of ATS34. So it should compare quite closely to CPM-154 which is practically indistinguishable from 154cm.

As for the knife:

An old lady would be lucky to get startled by that thing in a post office. Beautiful work sir.

Though, I too am not keen on the mammoth. Other materials in the works?
