Hello knife enthusiasts!

Let me offer to You my latest creation, button release automatic with button lock. There was lot of developing and many working hours, but I am absolutely happy with the result!

This knife is button release automatic with button lock. Knife got blade made of PM RWL34 stainless steel, tempered to 60RC. Blade got nice hand rubbed satin finish at all flats. There is titanium frame, bolsters and liners are milled out of one piece. Used springs are stainless. All metal parts in lock are hardened (pivot pin, stop pin, locking barrel). There is absolutely ZERO blade play. Handle is made of nice pieces of mammoth ivory. In Ivory are used DLC coated screws, other visible screws are TiN coated (gold colour). Also backspacer and launch button are made of titanium.

I was asked about accidental open in pocket. During this build I was workning with many different springs a three buttons to find out best combination. I am pretty sure that is not possibble open itself. There is quite strong spring.

Blade is 96mm long (3.78")
Overal lenght is 220mm (8.66")
Blade thickness is 3.2mm (0.126")

Knife is asking 1200 usd shipped. Come with set of springs, soft zipping protective pouch and COA.
You can place Your "I´ll take it" here a sure it duplicate to my email please (macwasil@gmail.com)

Absolutely beautiful. Best looking automatic knife I've ever seen. Stunning.

Wish I wasn't in debt fixing my house or I would be all over this one.

I enjoy your designs, but with this your getting close to a bingo. Make something 3" and under and lightweight and you could probably count me as a customer.

Keep up the great work

Vaclav really nice job on this one. Beautiful fit and finish as well as a great choice of materials. I agree with ring in that some knives with 3" or slightly smaller blades would be great to see. I believe they would sell quickly. Best of luck with the sale. For those of you who haven't experienced Valclavs work, his knives are amazing in hand. Great attention to detail.

Have to agree with everyone else, Great looking knife, and fit and finish is spot on!

Everyone has said what I would have said as well. You sir are talented!! I understand the concern about it opening in the pocket because just this week my Benchmade mini Reflex (with a lock I didn't employ) came open in my pocket and cut three fingers of mine in a nano-second and one very deep. So I looked closely at the differences in your design vs. my own auto and I have to say there are safety features that my knife doesn't have. Firstly the heavy spring. My knife seems to be on a hair trigger and I like the idea of a heavier spring. Secondly, and more importantly imho, your button is recessed whereas mine protrudes. Just some thoughts to consider. Once again that sir is a beautiful work of functional art!

Hey Martin! Thanks for Your nice words. There is one more safety feature, I´ll try to explain it.
The spring under button is so strong that blade is not able to move when the button is not pressed. Spring push the locking barrel on blade and the friction holds the blade in every position. Blade is flying only when the button is pressed. However, if that happen and knife would accidentaly open in pocket, blade can not move far and You can put it out from pocket without fighting with dangerous tensioned blade.

Is it understadable, or should I make video?

I have carried an automatic knife for years with a recessed button similar to MacWasil's and never had a problem with it opening in pocket. With a properly designed automatic like this, especially with the recessed button, I think the risk is the same as for any folding knife. In fact I've had a few manuals that I had to adjust so loose to get them to flip open smoothly that they did secretly open in my pocket. I think those were more dangerous than an auto which is positively either open or closed. With an auto like this at you're assured of having a positively closed knife until you intend to open it, no surprises. Great work Mac!

Always beautiful work....

A double-action with hidden release would be a nice one, too. ;)

hey, thanks for support words ;)
Did You said double action with hidden release?
Okay, I am gonna ad it to my to do list:D
