Hang in there! My granddaughter recovered, but only after the doctors read her chart and started treating the actual problem (and scaring us all to death....)

I hope you get over this asap and are back in action!!

Current common ailment in Texas, Starts as a sinus or allergy issue, gets Deep in the lungs, treated with Prednisone, antibiotics, an antitussive and an Inhaler. (I know several people with this)

The other looks like Strep, but gets Treated the very same way.

Very Common in the town of West Texas (Blew up April 17 2013)

Dave I am really sorry to hear that you have Pneumonia. It is a horrible shocking ailment and it takes ages to get over.
I had it last year on my way to Blade '12 and it killed my trip. I ended up in bed for a month.

Don't strain yourself too quickly. It takes some time for the body to recover it's strength.
I wish you all the best for a speedy recovery.

Smoke and prayers from down south.........

Steven

Sorry to hear you got hammered with that, bro'. Just take it easy and let the thing run its course. You can't fight it--just relax and outlast it. Rest rest rest, get really good and bored, then rest rest rest some more. Sucks, I know.

Hey Mate,

Sorry to hear you are laid up still...!!! Take care and get yourself better...!!!!

Hang in there Dave, I'll be praying for you. I still can't believe I didn't run into you at Blade. When you're back up and running we need to get together.

I have had Pneumonia more times than I can count. That and bronchitis.

The worst ever was breaking my ribs, and tearing my diaphragm, and then catching pneumonia. I had to sleep sitting up for over a month in a chair, because if I reclined, my lungs would not fill back up with air. Then, I had to cough up all the pneumonia junk on top of the ribs and the diaphragm trying to heal.

The first day I was able to lie back down, I fell asleep on the couch in the living room, and did not wake up for 30 something hours! No one could wake me up!

Hopefully you get to feeling better!

and Bye :)
