Buy expensive knives, carry cheap ones. My dilemma.

Enjoyed this video. Everyone's mindset is different but I enjoy hearing and respect others. Thats a badass knife btw.

Here's where I'm at. I am content with my Sodbuster in my pocket or my most expensive folder in my pocket or, as a matter of fact, which ever knife I have on me. I love knives and one is not better than the other.

I'm the same way. I'd feel the same with a Rat 1 or a jungle 7 in the pocket. So usually I carry several.

I've collected for over 20 years and have/had some fine knives. My carry Sebenza 21 large wasn't a $400.00 knife when I bought it new. It had the likes of Lionsteel, Microtech, James Bros/High Desert Knife works, Harkins, ZT and others try to take over pocket duty. No other thumber has the ease of open/fit's me like the big Sebbie.

Cold Steel tore a Sebbie up in an idiotic stupid test, beyond the knife's design. Makes no difference to me, they don't make a contender either.

I don't have an issue carrying expensive knives and I would if one dethrones my Sebbie.

One was $30 and the other was about $130 and I love them both. I carry the zt about 95% of the time but I keep the cryo in my backpack as a beater.

OP I say good on you for doing things your way, it sounds like a way to try out multiple quality knives.

Myself, I won't buy something I won't use. I only have production folders. I hope to have a Sebenza 21 or Umnumzaan someday, though where I live, the exchange rate makes them prohibitively expensive for an average working man like myself. When i do eventually get one it will be carried and used for sure, like any knife i own.

I would love to carry all of my knives, but due to restrictive knife laws I feel more comfortable carry cheaper, smaller stuff like SAKs.
