Buyer beware. Newbies should read this one.

I, like just about all the other guys, think the current system is more than fair. Its all about first come first serve. While i know the guy that left out the missing info was probably really excited about purchasing one of the fabled HI blades, he really should have stuck around long enough to check his mail to see if Uncle Bill had written him back in a pre-timely manner (as he is often known to do). I know the first time i bought a Khuk i didn't do everything right. I think Uncle Bill and I had 6 or 7 e-mails to each other in a 2 hour period before we ironed out everything needed to get it shipped off. I too have been on the losing side of trying to snatch up an UBDOTD, but there's always another day. Remember, these blades pick their owner. If anyone wants to get irate about missing a deal and storm off in a huff, then he probably just doesn't get what this forum and all the guys in it are all about. I don't think I could personally bring myself to get angry with a man that is willing to sell me a handforged blade at discount of 50 bucks or more off an already more than fair price. To each his own i suppose.
