Save about $100 more and get the new Bradley balisong that's coming out this month. It's sweeeeeet!

Paul, How about a BM,710,OR 707?

i'm leaning towards another BM but I dont have a paramillie yet either and I also like the new 93mm rescue spydie

If I were buying a knife tomorrow in that price range, I'd pick the Bark River Mountaineer with the Amboynia handle that's an exclusive at AG Russell's for $114.

Good luck with your decision!

The caly ZDP is excellent. Also have you considered the Benchmade Mini Presdio 525. The Benchmade sequel 707 is great too. I have the adventura and I don't like it that much. The mini skirmish is one of my favorites. The spyderco delica 4 is out now too. I have not handled one yet but it looks very good. What do you want to use it for? EDC?

You need a Paramilitary or a Manix! Maybe an Al Mar SERE 2K.

If you want a fixed blade, the Mountaineer from BRK&T that has already been mentioned is great.

get a BM w/ axis lock. preferably one of the newly discontinued models such as... ares, 710hs, AFCK. these will all be collectible soon.

The Axis lock knives are exceptionally smooth as far as the action goes. The locks are also very reliable and strong, but you can't go wrong with a ZDP189 Calypso Jr. providing you can even find any.

My latest knife buy was a black blade Paramilitary and it is nice but you really should try one of the Benchmades Axis locks.
The Axis lock is the most fun opening and closing mechanism yet made.
And it is reliable, safe, quick to deploy and easy to maintain.

And a couple of the nice ones are getting discontinued, so it's a now or never thing - I'd get either a 710HS or and 806D2. Great, dependable knives, and enormously fun to play with.

One more vote for the 710, get the HS. There is no other like the 710 HS and they have been discontinued. Like mine so much that I have just ordered a spare for my very lightly used user.
