Is there a reason anyone would buy from an authorized dealer rather than the online store at GEC's webpage other than availability?

Whenever I see people asking for places to buy GEC knives, no one ever mentions their online store.

i'm always checking out their online store in case a knife slips through the cracks.

The online factory store raises their prices to be 10% above dealers pricing. Also, most dealers offer free shipping, the factory does not. Finally, in reality what is put in the factory store is what the distributors did not buy the full run; and these days most runs are selling out. There are still good items there, but not any of the red-hot items.

BTW, in an effort to help the factory move their inventory, I now have a program of selling directly out of their stock.

Mike at Collector Knives, Northwest Knives and Derrick at Knives Ship Free have taken care of me. I look forward to ordering from Old Hundred Collectibles, and others.
