I am thinking of buying a knife which will be shipped out via Canadian Post to the U.S.
Are there any concerns such as customs charges that I need to take into account?
Thanks VM.

None that. I am aware of. I've ordered knives from stores (warriors and wonders) and from embers on several occasions. It takes about 7 business days to get from whatever part of Canada to AZ.

I've had zero issues sending knives to the US. Done it at least a dozen times and not had any issues yet. I use Xpresspost (part of Canada Post) and they're quite quick. Shipper pays a bit more of course, but worth it. My average was 5 days or less, even with going thru customs and such. Not too shabby!

I never heard of the receiver getting charged anything so I assume all was good.

If you don't have to pay import fees or taxes on out of country sales in your state, then you should be okay.
No one I ever shipped to mentioned any money they had to put out ..

Thanks everyone. Just ordered so we will see but relieved to hear others have
had no difficulties.
