I currently live in Thailand, and believe me, the price selling in the department store is 250% from what you can find out there in USA. I would like to know if any website is trust worthy for buying online and sending to overseas, like Thailand.

I am really interested to buy some knifes, but afraid of delivery problem. If anyone have experience similar to this, please letting me know.

I am actually interested in Benchmite II with the BP1 coating. If anyone have the knife review and would like to share, also welcome here.

We have a forum for the Asian and Australian Knife Community where you should be able to find people acquainted with this problem. There are some dealers willing to ship overseas from here, but I'm not familiar with the specifics of shipping to Thailand.

One thing I would say is be very certain of any local laws on importing/owning knives. You wouldn't want to pay for a knife and shipping only to have it confiscated as it came into the country. At the very least you would lose your money, and could possibly face legal troubles.

There are a number of good reputable dealers who would be willing to ship a knife to you overseas. You will need to look around to find someone with acceptable shipping rates and such as they can be on the high side.

Buying knives from the department store in Thailand , you should expect that the importer shall have to adding expenses such as import tax , marketing expense and etc. into their costs and also in the department stores ,they have to allow another 30 perdent on sales figure for the department store owner to earn.

When you say that prices in the department store is 250 percent higher than what you could see in abroard . perhaps you are comparing the prices you saw in E Bay or Stores on line . That is not a fare comparision because these resources do not require any overhead expenses and prises are ex - location where they are offered for sales.. The proper compariiision you should compare the prices in the local stores and other local stores in the other countries (especially the same importing country such as Singapore , malaysia , Europe and Australia ) then perhaps the gap is not that big or prices in Thailkand could be much lower .

Hope this help.:o
