Buying/selling knives in Europe?

I have a question regarding knife selling in Europe.

I am trying to sell a brand new Kershaw Leek via this forum (see this link: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/902531-Kershaw-Leek-1660-(EUR)-Price-even-further-reduced!).

I am based in Europe. Due to import taxes and postage it is probably not cost-efficient for anyone in the USA to buy it. However, for the same reason it should be very cost-efficient for people in Europe to buy it.

I offer the knife now for EUR 30, that is about $40. However, if I were to buy the same knife from a good and cheap internet shop (which I did, from KC), it'd cost me $55 to buy plus over $30 for postage plus about $20 in taxes. That is about $105!

Still, I haven't had a single reply from anyone (other than trying to "up" the mail after a price reduction). What am I doing wrong?
 
Sorry mods, but why did you move my posting here? It was a general question and definately anout feedback on the knife exchange (good, bad and ugly).

Could be, but is it that
- there are so little European knife members here
- nobody wants to buy a Leek (unlikely, other Leeks sell well)
- the price is not right
- something else

?

General Knife Discussion is for discussing the knives themselves: steels, uses, quality.
FEEDBACK is for discussing deals, dealers, shipping -- moving the items (knives or gear).

Yep. That's about it. Your target audience for a leek in Europe is:

a buyer in EU who also wants a leek and wants it at that price.

That's a pretty small demographic as I've seen maybe 3-4 EU members in the sale/trade forums.
