BW Custom Damascus Knives

Ill look into it.

I know several knives designed in the fox and hound line is designed by Brian WIlhoite also.

As for the puppy...she is doing great! If any knife/gun-lovers or hunter/fisherfolks are ever in Central Ohio during Labor day weekend...the Johnstown Sportsmen's Club Swappers day is absolute paradise. The guy I traded the BW custom offered the deal...I never would have dreamed that he would offer me a puppy for it. (he was selling them for around 75 bucks if memory suits me right) She is a lemon and white beagle and doing great.

Brian-O...no disrespect intended...I am glad you have good experiences with BW Customs...I personally like the way they look in the catalog. Mine was horrible...and I was passing on that information. I am sure there are many folks on here that would scoff at some of my favorites as well...enjoy and happy collecting!

Well, I find it really crappy that I can't shop for Damascus blades and know 1) layers and 2) RC hardness. I have a number of Bear & Son knives and I like the quality. They advertise 512 layers and it's made in the USA. None of the others in the sub-$200 range have websites. That's one reason I don't buy Fox N Hound.

I guess thats why they all have SMKW exclusive next to them.
The knife works have several lines that they own and have made for them.

Don't walk...RUN from this knife...I bought one...worst piece of junk I ever bought...it is made in Pakistan and is nothing but garbage. On the plus side...I traded mine at a swap meet for a great little beagle puppy who is a welcome addition to our family. Again I cannot stress what a total piece of garbage this knife is...DO NOT buy it...unless you enjoy throwing 40 bucks into the trash.

To clarify...in small letters on the box only...the word PAKISTAN...that alone should scare you.

The blade was covered with some kind of oily crud...it took me a half hour with a miracle cloth to even get it halfway tolerable. The knife is just bad...really bad. I will NEVER buy another BW custom knife again.
I cant change your experience but not all 5fingers are equal. Some good knife makers are also here in Pakistan...
We ourself try to enhance image of Pakistani Knives....and we have good names in USA, getting our stuff n putting their logo on it...
