...as a Busse virgin, it's a whole lot more than I expected!
Like some sort of school kid I got home from work this arvo and ran straight to the bedroom looking for a package that I knew was coming from the States. This is what I found:
Super excited I began chopping the box open (using a Spyderco Pacific Salt). Pose shot:
Ripping the packaging apart (my Spyderco in the background, the only folders I will buy, quickly becoming relegated to a distant second best):
And behold. Tanker grey with black micarta:
Probably not very exciting for you guys but it was for me. I cannot believe the size, weight and balance of this thing. The physical presence of it is amazing. I seriously underestimated what it was I was buying from Busse. I thought this was a bit of a lightweight chopper, best used for scrub and bush. Fair dinkum, I was wrong. I intend to belt the cr@p out of this on our next camping trip too.
For a second or two I began to reconsider my idea of buying something bigger (I though of this even before my first Busse arrived), but that was a stupid thought. I need more, MORE! I'm looking a lot at the NMFBM...
