...as a Busse virgin, it's a whole lot more than I expected!

Like some sort of school kid I got home from work this arvo and ran straight to the bedroom looking for a package that I knew was coming from the States. This is what I found:

Super excited I began chopping the box open (using a Spyderco Pacific Salt). Pose shot:

Ripping the packaging apart (my Spyderco in the background, the only folders I will buy, quickly becoming relegated to a distant second best):

And behold. Tanker grey with black micarta:

Probably not very exciting for you guys but it was for me. I cannot believe the size, weight and balance of this thing. The physical presence of it is amazing. I seriously underestimated what it was I was buying from Busse. I thought this was a bit of a lightweight chopper, best used for scrub and bush. Fair dinkum, I was wrong. I intend to belt the cr@p out of this on our next camping trip too.

For a second or two I began to reconsider my idea of buying something bigger (I though of this even before my first Busse arrived), but that was a stupid thought. I need more, MORE! I'm looking a lot at the NMFBM...

Chris.

Congrats, Chris! The BWM is one helluva fine Busse to start off with... :D:thumbup: Enjoy that chopper, and welcome to the madness!!! :)

Good on ya mate ! Thanks for the nice pics - just makes me want my own BWM even more... soon ! :D

Fantastic!

Great looking knife, looks like there's gonna be some fun ahead for ya.

Congrats & be safe.

You definitely need a NMFBM, just watch out because not only do they out-chop most anything, they seem to breed on their own! You can never have just one !:o

Love that color combo
Congrats on this one, the BWM is going to rule your camp site, make sure to get some pictures and post them when you get back.

Welcome aboard

Every new Busse is exciting, especially if it's your first.

At that moment, when you have INFI in your hand for the first time, when you're admiring the quality, craftmanship, and shear toughness of you new found love.

At that moment, you know you're skrewed. Busse is like beer. When you have one, you have thirteen.

Congratulations on your first.

I have owned the FBM and FFBM. I now have two BWMs. One full convexed. The BWM is a more versatile all-around knife than the heavier ones, IMO. It should serve you well out in the bush.

Nice BWM. If you like that one, the NMFBM is probably the next logical step in your addiction. :D

I've already got the NMFBM ... still need to get a BWM.
