Thank you Clay for trusting me and sending the sheaths for review. Just for the record they are the V and horizontal versions per my request

. SO far I liek these babies.. I am wearing trhe V now. Will post my findings as they develop.

BTW is this originally made/molded for the old 40 series, Master Clay? Or for the 42? SO I can test it accordingly.

Sweet sir! Thanks.

cool snipe!! Hopefully Clay will sell custom concealex sheaths to us all (for a reasonable price of course, none of this " $150 a-hole fee (per hole that is

))".

Good luck at creating awesome sheaths Clay!!

I just recieved a pair of genuine Clay made Xtreme concealex sheaths today. They are quite nice. One is for neck carry, the other is a belt sheath. They were both made for a 42 and they fit like a glove. I am in love with the neck one, it might just kick my TOPS out of the rotation for camping purposes. I haven't tried out the belt sheath yet, but I imagine it will be tons better than the factory one. It is very nice, quite adjustable, and as mentioned before the fit is perfect. I'll see if I can get some decent scans of them wednesday and post them if there aren't already some on here.

Whooo........ they got there fast. I sent them late Friday afternoon and they got to you guys on Monday. Score one (or two) for the US Postal service.

Snipe: I used the 42's for the molding, and checked to see if the 45's would work...... and they did. BONUS!

BTW, There are two tension adjustment screws on the left and right (bottom), if needed. You can test it with any models you like.

The inverted "V" is my favorite and my daily carry set-up. I find a Windmill opening to be the fastest draw from that position, and nobody ever sees it coming. Scares the hell out of some people in fact.

Let me know how that horizontal sheath works out for ya'. I've had a feeling it might be a bit too wide for your little bony ass.

Cameron: Thanx for the encouragement Bud. Right now I'm sheathing anything and everything I can get my hands on. I did a cool one for my Father's SpiderWrench tonight.

I actually have about 5 of the inverted "V"'s, 1 double Horizontal, 1 staggered double horizontal, 1 double Vertical, 5 regular single horizontals (set-up for Tech-Loc), and one thats for an under arm set-up (when I get the harness, I'll let ya' know).

Tique: Dude, I'm glad you like that neck set-up as much as I did. As a matter of fact, I liked it so much I almost kept that one for myself. It's so simple. It holds the Balisong securely, yet releases with a tug. I think I'm going to make a few more of those starting tomorrow (1 being for me of course).

getting 'em open
is half the fun!

How well does the necklace sheath hold the 42? Seems to me that it wouldn't be that much secure without some bottom brace, maybe a velcro latch?

Actually, the neck sheath from Clay is rock solid. The bali isn't gonna budge, I wouldn't carry it if it would.

Clay,
As soon as you get enough, put some up for sale. I think that there is enough interest to cover your expenses and time.

Any prototype "in the pocket" designs that we discussed yet?

I like my ass the way it is thank you very much

Youre right though, I think it might be too wide for concealed carry and for littler silly chinese people like me the staggered horizontal might work best.

SO far things are looking good for this thanks for the info Clay.
