Byrd knife ?

The blade of the Flight has a straight spine and more accute tip than the Cara Cara. Many people don't seem to mind the hump at the tip of the Cara Cara, but it just bugs the crap out of me. If I bought one, I'd have to grind it off, just like I did on my Stretch II. The Flight is also about a half-inch shorter, making it legal to carry in a few more places. The swedge tip will reduce resistence for stabbing if self-defense is a concern.

Regarding eBay, I've bought a couple hundred knives there with only a couple of problems, both of which were resolved fairly painlessly. Just know what you are looking for, and remember that if the deal looks too good to be true, it probably is. As for the seller's feedback rating, read the comments, don't just go by the score. I've heard of an instance where a buyer left negative feedback for a good seller because the Byrd knife he bought was made in China.
