Byrd Knives?

I thought the 91mm on the Victorinox was the size of the closed knife, and not the size of the blade....am I wrong on that?

No, you are correct. The overall closed length for your old knife was 91 mm. The closest in size from the Byrd line is the Robin, which is 84 mm closed. There is also the Crow, which is a bit larger at 98 mm.

Thank you very much, I thought that was the case. I think I am going to go with the Crow. I don't think that the extra length is that much of a difference

I currently have the Crow, Raven, Meadowlarks G-10 & FRN, and a PE Cara Cara in G-10. The Crow and Raven have the best ergos, for me personally, but I put more trust in the back-lock of the 'larks and Cara. Can't go wrong with any of these listed, IMO. G-10 is nice, but a little heavier, and the FRN seems thinner in the pocket and definitely lighter in weight. Would be nice to see the Raven and Crow models with G-10 and a back-lock :D

I'm looking more and more at the Meadowlark......which do you prefer between the Crow and Meadowlark?
