"byrd" line of knives

Most of the folks who buy knives on ebay either don't know any better or are like us -- savvy "knife people" looking for a price bargain. There are going to be two types of buyers -- people who have heard all about this discussion (and others like it) and who understand that the Byrds are Chinese-made imports under Spyderco's business umbrella, and people who aren't going to know the difference anyway and are just as likely to be buying knives in bins of 120 from Shop at Home's knife collecting show. You know?

Hi Phil, yes, she is. :)

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Hey Shabbasuraj, If you mean the byrd shaped opening holes cut out of the scales at the bottom towards the rear, yes.

I have the Meadowlark and now the Cara Cara. All I have to say is keep it up . :)
These are great knives at a great price. The 'Lark is small enough to not be a burden to carry or use and it seems to get good reactions from the non knife people I have used it around. The Cara Cara is in my opinion going to be the sleeper hit for hunters with its well placed Choils and finger rests for detail work.

The fit and finish totally outclasses any other import knife in the same general price range. I have sold the Ka-bar Dozier (Pictured Above) in retail and was able to move quite a few of them with the ' look at the price for what your getting' factor. We could not keep them in stock. With the Byrds hitting I think the lid is going to come off this niche market and I hope Spyderco and Byrd are in it for the duration. Thanks for the new line of knives, the first, I might add, that I plan to collect and use the entire line.
