I've been considering a keychain sized lockback, and am not sure which of these to get. I like the Starling, but is there any reason to consider a Ladybug or Jester? The Starling goes for about half the price. The only advantage I can see of the Spydies is the possibility of having a serrated edge. Assuming, fo course, the quality on all three is there.

Anyone ever compare some of these?

i only own the ladybug , but its a great choice . mine is plain edge , though

I have a Starling. I took that over the Ladybug and Jester because it has the steel equivalent to AUS 8 while the latter two have only AUS 6. Not really a big deal though because you aren't going to do any serious cutting with these knives anyways.

I don't know about the Starling, don't own one. I recently purchased a Jester though. A great little knife that can handle most cutting tasks with ease. The Jester maybe (relatively) expensive for such a small knife, but I would certainly recommend it.

I know all three ones. And the Jester is my favorite, expecially the Stainless Steel version.

Tough decission for you, schecky! All three ones are recommended for us :jerkit:

The argos of the Jester are truelly amazing. You can have a 3 fingers hold on them and cut a 1/5 inch thick rope....

Take care,

Simon

yeah but they claimed you could do that with the ladybug as well , and if the steel is even better , that means the starling could do it too.
