'C' in the blade

Hello,

As far as I know, all the s30v blades have an 'S' in the right side of blade. Does anybody know what the 'C' stands for?

if not mistaken, C= crusible, P= powdered, M= metal.

I think the "C" was put into the later classic models. "S" being for standard.
