It wouldn't hurt to do so. Just make sure you have a good #6 torx. Apply firm pressure and twist slowly to make sure you aren't stripping anything.

Sometimes Camillus puts a little extra lock tite on and it can be a bit of a challenge. I use a would burning tool to apply direct heat to each screw to break down the loc-tite. You could also put the knife into boiling water for a few minutes. An option for a lube that I like, is a full synthetic motor oil.
