I would have preferred the wire clip but oh well.

I did replace the clip with a Manix 2 clip, which I like better for several reasons.

My only complaint would be about the clip which is very tight agaisnt the CF handle. When you take the GB from your pocket, all your pants are following it !
I try to loose the clip a bit but without success.
(I don't want to break it)
No big deal.

Also I thought to carry it tip down and open it like my Millie (spyderdrop style) but the hole is far from the pivot and deep in the pocket. I keep it tip up carried like my Catbyrd and I use my index finger and momentum to gently open the blade.
Closing it, is absolutly no issue unless you wear gloves and drop the knife in dish soap.
In that case only a UKPK is easy to close !

Thanks ! This knife is really like we say in France "une main de fer dans un gant de velours". A true gentleman workhorse made by Spyderco.

And for the one would got doubt about the GB well thought ergos, here is a picture when I hold it with edge up. The hunters will appreciate to have a great control on the edge in any direction.




See how the handle follow the meat of my palm ? This is a very confortable grippy handle !
