Apparently these aren't so common. Made in 1995 and for a while thereafter but has now been discontinued. A number of companies and organizations (including Spyderco) used special editions of this knife as a promo - this one being for Ducks Unlimited.

You are correct. Not many of those. I believe that they were available at DU auctions and not much elsewhere. One of my elusive ones. (I love the green handle too) I have a broken blade of one that I traded a spyder one for. Great find and picure too (can I keep the pic and maybe put it on my website?)

Bob - I believe it's called a "toplock." You can pretty much see how it works from the picture. Works real well, IMO.

Chris - Sure, use the image however you want. I'm pleased you like it.
 
Hey I have that knife! From what I remember reading they only made 60 or 70 of them for DU of canada members.
