Crucible had a tough year last year. About as rough as you can have.

"J.P. Industries bought the plant in a bankruptcy auction of Crucible Materials Corp. for $8 million. The company formed Crucible Industries to operate the plant that makes an especially hard steel called Crucible Particle Metallurgy that is used to make tools that cut other metals and steels.
...
Crucible Industries now has 200 workers, compared with the 730 it employed in 2008, he said."

Whew!!! I got scared there for a minute! To me suspension means they stopped making them. Backordered means they can't keep up with demand.

It's pretty hard to keep up with demand if you can't get the steel. Suspension means they aren't making them right now, as in "production has been suspended until the next batch of steel arrives". Discontinued means they've stopped making them for good. No one said the GB has been discontinued. For that matter, just being on backorder doesn't mean production has been suspended, but it does indicate the possibility.
