This is a great little knife I made. It is my Ca de bou model named after the dog picture below.

This one is made from CPM D2 with a satin finish. The blade is 0.200" thick at the ricasso with a 4.0" cutting edge. The Rockwell hardness is 60. The tang is tapered and the scales are maroon linen micarta. The overall length is 9.0". Thanks for looking.

Dig it! It's got kind of a Hossom-like flair to it... love the finish on both the handle and the blade, and it all works well with the grind.

Your pup?

Thanks guys. No my dog, just representative of the breed.

Matthew,
Jerry is a friend of mine and a major influence on my work. I owe him big time for all the knowledge he's shared with me. I'l take that as the best compliment I can get.

Very nice design. Like everything about it, size, blade and handle shape, thong hole, and if it must have micarta handle scales, maroon linen would be my choice.
