CA glue bottles

I'm curious how CA glue is used in knife making. What are the primary uses you folks find for the stuff?
Ca glue is used for filling voids in handle materials, and I also use it for temporary fixturing, for instance holding a pair of bolsters together while shaping.

By searching plastic bottle suppiers, you may getba gross of the small bottles for a very nlow price.

CA glue is available in all sizes up to a gallon from most sources and many knife suppliers. The better grades will keep in the refrigerator for many years. I like to buy pints.

Great thread. I'm not sure I could make knives without CA glue, it's pretty critical to my process for temp fixturing. Thanks for all the info guys!

I buy the big refill bottles of Bob smith glue, and tiny plastic bottles from a local retailer for about $1 each. I only fill them about 1/4 full, and toss the bottle if it dries shut.
I tried some accordion bottles Lee valley sells with a needle on top for precision work, and even with making sure to blow the glue out each time, it still clogged.
