Well today was the last day of the Cabelas new store Grand opening.
CJ was there visiting and signing Buck Blades, I am SUPER GLAD I went.
Packed up the wife and kids stopped at a punkin patch to keep them happy and headed to Cabelas.
Talked with Cj for a bit but he was quite busy! He must have writers cramp after that signing session!!!!!! Thanks for signing my Quest and zipper blades Cj. It was a pleasure to meet him!!!! Great guy!
I originally went down there to get a Vanguard AG (pack rats advice) and have it signed but,
Sweetest day is rolling along soon so instead, I bought my wife her first Buck (hunting knife) A nice Alpha folder Pro line with camo handles.
She loved it! It is really neat that the Bucks do these meet and greets!
I also found out about some new knives for 07!
Bet you guys wish you were there now :D
I had 5 different knives I wanted but decided to wait... with CJ there I guess I wanted them all signed LOL ( Buck OCD kicked in :D )
Thanks again CJ and Buck knives for the great service and products!!
Oh yeah Cabelas was really cool too! Check their stores out.

oh no you cant tease us like that youve got to spill it now :D

and you guys get all the good stuff down there dont the buck guys ever come north to hunt ?
im not a hunter but i could sure show joe or chuck and cj and the rest where theres all kind of game (for a few bucks) of course
on a semi related note i seen on the local news a few days ago some american hunters had come to saskatchewan to hunt but within a half hour of arriving there shotguns were stolen ;) so if you come bring a few spares :D

on the plus side the guns were recovered but their gear is still missing

Cool beans Jim!!!
That was knice to get the wife a knice knife too.
So, what's new for '07?

He just mentioned 2 knives that were designed by his son Josh.
One will be a fixed blade tactical knife.
The other is a fixed blade L.E. knife... I hope to see some pics :)
What do you think Joe???? Please ;)

He didnt say anything about pictures when I asked- He kinda smiled :D
Like that...LOL
Said it was sorta based on the shape of the Mayo TNT... I think that could be a real neat design for a fixed blade! Now I wonder if it will be S30V!
Joe????????

I bet Jim has prototype pictures...he's probably just waiting to be bribed with some Buck knife offers:D

how many of you guys have the mayo tnt ?
i had to look at them as i dont have any and dont really care for them but the ti and s30v sounds pretty good to me but other than that i prefer the old standard designs , i still havent gotten any of the striders either i missed the last sale but maybe they will come up again

I want one as I really like the design! I have the Northshore mayo but it sure isnt a TNT! Just cant spend that much for a folder - yet:p
