Cabelas set to open in Christiana Delaware in 2014

As a resident of Maryland, I have about four true outdoors themed superstores I can visit, two Bass Pro Shops and two Gander Mountain stores, in "close" proximity. Bass Pro in Arundel Mills MD and Harrisburg PA, and Gander Mountain in York PA and Salisbury MD. A buddy told me that they were putting a Cabelas in Christiana DE, at the mall. I've only been to the Cabelas in Hamburg PA twice, but always enjoy heading up there. It remains to be seen how packed this one will be in DE.

They just opened one in Columbus Ohio. It's been open for about a month now and it's packed every weekend. I went in and quickly left, can't stand being in large crowds, no room to move or look at anything. It was nuts! I guess I am getting old and don't see the appeal of the big box stores anymore.

I figure on traffic from Baltimore, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York and the Delmarva peninsula. I believe it will be packed every day. The Cabelas in Hamburg PA that I usually visit wasn't too bad when I went in the summer. They were packed though. Depends on how much space the mall gives them, the one in PA is a standalone store.
