The Gander Mountain in York PA is the absolute best outdoor store I've ever been in. You can take Dicks Sporting Goods, GM is my go to for the good stuff.

the one in Harrisburg has a kayak pool inside.

how was i to know that i couldn't swim and fish in it.

and i hear the one in wiliamsport is good also.

Theres one in Hamburg, PA, about a 2 and a half hour drive, at least. I would love to go. Heard about THE gun room.

make the trip, it's a great store.:thumbup:

i was there for the soft and grand openings, and what a zoo that was, but, found some great buys.

there already is a bass pro shop in ontario ,,on highway 400 ,,right besides canadas wonderland, in the big mall . i was there last summer (2006)

I was in cabelas PA ,,last month ,,,great store
they have a cabelas scheduled to be opened in 2008 in Montreal Quebec Canada

Cabela's: Overpriced but great inventory and selection.

Buy off season. :thumbup: They really mark it down and don't hold it over (gotta have the latest and greatest).
Their backroom "closeouts" tend to be catalog returns and are still, by and large, overpriced for gently used, seconds, and returns.:thumbdn:
