Hello, My name is Chris Tidwell. I was trained by Jimmy Fikes. I am currently making knives using the principles that he taught me. As many of you know about Jimmy's work, no knife leaves the shop without being tested for sharpness and strength. Today I have Cabin Boy #10 made from 1095. 3 1/2" Blade, 7 1/4" Overall, 1/4" Thick. No sheath. $275 + $25 for shipping Fedex Ground. I take checks or Paypal with added fees. Thank you. Sold.

Sweet! I love Jimmy's style! That turned out great, and I love the texture pattern on the flats. Is he letting you use his makers mark on your knives as well (the flower on the tang)?

ETA- btw, you're very lucky man! :D

Thank you Paul for the kind comments. Yes, I am very lucky and grateful. The knives I have listed on the forum were made by me in Jimmy's shop. I have known Jimmy for over 20 years. Jimmy taught me to make knives for the past 3 years, for which I am thankful. I was making knives under Fikes II up until the first of August. I decided to part ways with Jimmy and to leave Fikes II. I have a few, including this one that were made in Jimmy's shop left over which I am selling. Jimmy allowed me to use the flower(Chrysanthemum) and his design influence while I was with Fikes II. They have two center punch marks on the reverse side to differentiate the ones I made from Jimmy's. Thank you again for the kind words.

Chris
