I have had some cable laying around from what used to be Ellis custom knifeworks, and I finally decided to get around to forging out some damascus with it. I actually find it more difficult to make this type of damascus, because weld flaws are easy to get because of junk within the cable. This particular knife has a small flaw on one side of the blade. It is quite a ways away from the cutting edge, so I thought I would offer it here at a bit of a discount. The blade is slightly recurved and is left with the forge scale on the flats.
The handle is some aged linen micarta. It shows the layers well and looks a bit like wood grain. It is held into place with peened pins and acraglas.
The sheath is my hand tooled pocket sheath. It is carried in the right hand pocket. The sheath draws easily and slides in nicely.
Dimensions
Blade - 3 5/8" tip to handle
OAL - 7 1/2"
Price - $195 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.
You can see the small weld flaws here.
