Cable Damascus Integral Clip Point
Cable (1085) damascus.
11 7/8" overall length, 4 3/4" cutting edge.
Stag handles, with leather steel spacers. Cable decorated buttcap. Handmade leather sheath.

I still haven't put the edge on this one.

Not sure what you mean... The cable has a threaded rod hammered in before the forging process and I use that as tang. Then the decoration at the end of the stag is placed there later, it's not the same cable from the blade.

If that's not what you were asking, just let me know :)

this is stunning :thumbup: :eek: but why didn't you extend the grind back farther, closer to the choil?

Yep that explains it,I was just thinking it would be springy at the junction if not welded all the way,I should have known better:DRegards Butch-again I love your work:thumbup::thumbup:
 
That is a stunning example of your craft sir. The activity in that blade is amazing, you could spend an hour just looking at it and see something different every time.

A praiseworthy job.
