i was hopeing to use this tutorial http://www.aescustomknives.com/docs/tutorial10.htm to make a cable damascus knife, and was wondering what kind of cable i need and where i can get it. new cable at home depot looks stainless so i cant use that, there is a vacant property by my house with some randomly strewn rusty 1 inch cable, would this work? or should i just wait to get some from a supplyer? thanks
