Cable Joe Knives?

Anyone familiar with his work? Some of the pieces on his website are interesting and the prices are reasonable but I've never seen any of his work up close. I have no idea about his quality, fit and finish, etc.

I've seen his work and was amazed at the blade grinds, and quality compared to the price. Some of his blade grinds and styles should give you a hint to who he has worked under. To be honest, i'm surprised his work with folders isn't more well known. I saw a large Coke Bottle style knife on his table a while back, and I've regretted not buying it many times. He makes a number of interesting patterns in a variety of sizes.

I talked with him at the Blade Show last June. He said that he was just getting back into knifemaking after some time off and showed me a couple of pieces that he said weren't good enough to sell. I'd have to say that if/when he's got his groove back, his knives will be well worth purchasing.
