Thanks everyone. This is a great feeling knife in the hand. It is a looker but this cable is tough as nails and is ready to work. I have been carrying a smaller cable knife that was done in a canister like this one and it is a real worker. Thanks to all for looking. -Burton

i sure like the wood. nice contrast between the two.
the canister dama steel is a cool process.

That is very lovely- it has the touch and feel of fall in it. The damascus is just beautiful and that handle- OH! to die for: ) great work

Congratulations Burton. hope you speak French because i bet you're going to get orders from this guy's buddies. you nailed it with a beautiful and tough user knife, which is what all of us guys want whether American, Canadian or French.
i was in France about 16 years ago. it's loaded with cutlery stores, nothing trashy, all real upscale and man do the French ever like the big bad Bowies.
