Just signed for it- cruddy photos though.
Also - I received #82 when I thought I was getting #84 when I PMed Amy-O.
Anyone care/ wanna trade? It doesn't matter to me, but in 7 days it's going hunting with me and won't be the same.
It's also SHARP!- "Sharpened by Josh" :) I love the accountability- and now I know what he looks like with a S.L.U.T. so I can thank him. So Thank you Josh, and everyone at BUSSE who made this happen!

congrats to those who are already in possesion, this is what I saw today when I came in:
Expected Delivery Date: November 12, 2010
Class: Priority Mail®
Service(s): Signature Confirmation™
Status: Arrival at Post Office

so my blade is in town, this work day is going to be loooooong, hopefully mail is on time today.....

It is slim in the hand. The micarta feels great and the zero edge convex is far and away the sharpest, best edge I have ever gotten directly from Busse. I have already whittled, cut some boxes up, sliced loosely held thin paper, and shaved arm hair. Don't sit on the sidelines for this one, it is a 4" keeper. I measured it and the CABS is exactly 4" of cutting edge, slightly (1/4") more than my meaners. Great knife, crazy good edge. Keep it up Jerry, very nice.

It feels great. Very slim and trim and the slabs are slightly handshaped.
The paper micarta is smooth....almost slick. I'll have to see how they function during field dressing next week. Hopefully they don't get too slippery during the process.
I also didn't realize that the edge would be convexed. I'll have to learn how to maintain it or change it to a V grind.

Compared to my BATACLE it feels tiny though :) The BATACLE was my smallest Busse.

Not sure I'll ever need to get a smaller blade after handling this one. It's a SWEET size.

I just have to wait for my IWB sheath from David Brown for it *hint-hint David :)

Thanks for the pictures. It looks like I should've bought two instead of one...

I am glad these have a convex edge.

They are zero edge convex. They are just like my Banned Buffalo Hunter. Trust me, that is a good thing.

and we like Sharp knives from sharp guys

Just got mine in too - These are really nice!

Bill, my mail carrier was LATE today. He KNOWS when I am getting something, and likes to make me squirm.

This is about as sharp a knife as I have ever purchased. I am very pleased with it.

Mine arrived today! Unfortunately, I lack the tools on my new PC to post pix. :grumpy:
I have a CABS (#61), L-CABS (#18) and a regular, .220" blk/blk Boss St. The L-CABS is one of my new favorite knives. They look beautiful coupled with my BWM-LE (black-paper & satin - gotta love it!) ;)

Edit: I will add that both of my ABS’s came ridiculously sharp – via Garth & Beef, thanks!
