CABS vs. Boss Street

Not sure why or How you would ever baton a 4" knife other than on small stuff you could already find anyway. I like the CABS and SCABS as they will be much better slicers. Never really understood the baton thing since I have lots of twigs and small branches readily available

To gain pieces of precise thicknesses for carving spoons and other things. :thumbup:

Cliff Stamp demonstrates how to use a small Mora to split large rounds of wood.

Plenty of makers on this forum work with skinny stock, and can baton with utility knives that are 0.10" thick.

I LOVE my Boss Street!!! ghetto satin'd and sharp!!,, but I would love to see a on spine side by side shot with the CABS,,, I'm thinking I need one of these before they go away

Wow, guys...thanks for all the opinions!!! I got some thinking to do.....ah, this is why i love knives, though. don't we all? It is the silly decisions like this that make it all worth it. I guess i will have to put them through some real use before i make the FINAL decision..

I recently purchased exactly this combination, and am waiting for them to arrive. I am planning to keep the CABS (#23 I think) mint, and I've already ordered the Mashed Cat Kydex for the CG Boss Street. I think it will be a perfect belt accompaniment to either my SH-E, or my BWM stored inside my pack. Nice photos, thanks for posting.
