Well with a bum knee, three disc's gone in my low back, two in my neck (this is the one that causes the big problems - when you wake up unable
I've been reading this thread and hurting with every line. The sins of my past are haunting me big time.
Left knee got broken in two places and now it goes out whenever it feels the urge. Right knee is going because of the additional stress on it (and because I'm from the mountains and it's a little shorter)
Right ankle was broken a number of times and has pins in it. The pins are growing calcium I think but the joints look like he!! and hurt.
I only have one bad disk and that's enough. You have my sympathy. Got shot in left hand, right hand and left shoulder. They all give me fits on cold days and because of that and having broken my knuckles several times, repetitive work like sewing leather is misery after a while.
My wind's going fast, eyesight is getting bad and I'm just not as good looking as I was .
This is the price for living life on my on terms and I wouldn't change one thing if I could. Been happily married for 35 years, have two wonderful kids, paid for house, two bikes, a kayak, a canoe and fishing boat and I can't afford to retire.
Did I mention that I'm still as childish and immature as I was 50 years ago. Life isn't so bad after all!
