CAK arrived yesterday

On the tin chirra, i will be honest and say i find a straighter handle and blade as settling right into my western mind as hand to glove.....also perhaps something thinner.....but the more i handle my tin chirra, the more i appreciate what it does with so little effort....and as for the showpiece it is, i took the KLVUK, the tarwar, and the tin chirra to a shop today whose owner is a knife guy.....he was impressed with how much knife a humble KLVUK is compared to most anything else by anybody else stateside, in awe of the tarwar, and then when he pulled out the tin chirra, he just sighed and stated "now THIS is what i always thought a real kukhuri should be.".....and i could not argue with him.....

Looking attain at the picture, it appears it was a nice clean break. Some proper adhesive and you might be able to undo Pan's lobotomy.

I'm told there's no chance of undoing mine. Oh well.

Our motto used to be "i'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy".

I was thinking he hit a glancing blow to the statue hands which deflected blade into the bridge of the nose.....well struck, Sire, well struck!.....the statue rocked back as hand struck and exposed the face of the helm....you should add this to The Song Of Roland....

There are several pieces missing, but the top sits well on the head. I need to clear the area anyway, maybe more pieces will be discovered.

Maybe some mastic will reattach the severed front lobe in your case Bawanna. I wouldn't worry about it though, i doubt anyone has noticed, i surely hadn't.

Well I haven't noticed much of anything since the operation, maybe that's a good thing?
