Anybody else concerned about keeping only a minimum of different calibers for stockpile/inventory reasons?

I'm at the following:
.25acp, .38, 9mm, .45acp, .357, .223, 30:30, 7mm Mauser & 12 gauge.

With the exception of the .38 & the 9mm (mid-sized CCW) they all fill a very different role but I still feel like I had fewer calibers of ammo to buy.

Anyone else?

(Now, let's see if I can make this poll thing work!)

.22 LR, .22 Mag, .223, .25 ACP, .32 S&W, .280 Rem, .38 Sp., .357 Sig, .44 Mag (rifle and pistol), .45 ACP, 12 gauge, .50 Sharps, .54 muzzleloader. I didn't realize it was that many...

there's more but this is the stuff that counts: 22lr, 45, 7.62x39, 7.62x51, 12 ga

This should be fun :D
.22 LR, .22 Mag, .25 ACP, 7.62X25 Tokarev, .30 Mauser (7.63X25), .32 ACP, .380, 9mm, .38 Super, .38 Special/.357 Mag, .40 S&W, 10mm, .44 Special, .44 Magnum, .45 ACP, .45 Colt, .223, 7.62X39, 7.62X54 Russian Rimmed, .308, .30-'06, .303, 8mm Mauser, .45-70, 20 Ga. and 12 Ga.

I think I need to buy another gun for my birthday ;)

.22 lr, .38 special, .357 mag, 9mm, 44 mag, 45 ACP, 10mm
.308, 30-06, 7.5x55 swiss, .223
12 gauge

I'm at the following:
.25acp, .38sp, 9mm, .45acp, .357, .223, 30:30, 7mm Mauser & 12 gauge.
I forgot to add the antique and/or vintage mil stuff that I never keep more than a box or two of ammo for:

22LR, 32s&w long, 38s&w, and .410.

I guess that makes 13 but I don't really count them as user guns. I guess, conceivably, I could carry an old Aussie-issued S&W Victory... Nah. ;)

13... Maybe I need to buy another to break the unlucky number! :)

(Geez, yablanowitz!? How much ammo do you keep in stock for each? Do you reload??

Yes, I reload for quite a few of them. I only keep a couple of boxes for some, but the calibers I have multiple guns in I have a thousand rounds or so for. I really started stockpiling after Clinton was elected and before he took office ;)

Pistol - 5 different
Rifle - 4 different (5 with a pistol/rifle crossover calibre)
Shotgun - 2 guages

Dag....

.22lr, handguns and longarms
.45acp, handguns
.44mag, handguns and longarms
7.62x39 longarms
12guage, longarms only!
I like to keep the collection calibers to a limit and centered towards individual uses.
