I have a few of the same caliber and I am thinkin I left some out I am at work so this is off the top of my head.

I merely voted to help you gather accurate information.

Rather amazed to see how modest my holdings were compared to many. There are some real cartridge lovers out there! Y'all must have a ton of dies...

I have alot of dies but reloading has become less economical with cost of bullets etc going up. Many times its easier to shoot crappy ammo for plinking. I still reload for hunting rifles and pistols but for just goofin around I usually just buy cheap ammo.

It looks like the bulk of the group either keep the numbers whittled down to 3-5 or jump radically to waaaaaay over seven! ;)

Interesting!

I started buying young, have had guns passed down to me and given as presents. But many I own are on my own accord. I like having a wide assortment guns for hunting, target shooting and just overall enjoyment.

I usually keep around a box of ammo for each, I KNOW I have ammo for all of them....somewhere anyway. I have dies for many of them.

i dont worry about only getting certain calibres either, its a good idea to have a base set of arms in std calibres like 9MM, 5.56, 7.62X39, .45ACP/etc just in case.

and everyone should have a .22,

Personally, I try not to pick up something new just for the skae of it being new. I try to get something if I perceive a need for it. When I was working private security in CA I maintained a guncard in .38/.357, 9mm, .40, .45, and 10mm because I wanted to have all the bases covered if I ever needed to pick up a co-workers gun and use it (CA being overly populated with lawyers). But personally I don't have one of everything and if I find I'm not using something and theres no sentimental value in it I try to find someone that will use it and sell it to them.
