Frogfish,

Would we be able to use your yard to do some chopping? If so then I can bring a couple of old and seasoned 2X4's that have been sitting in the yard of my workplace.

I also have some homemade shooting target stands that can be used to hold up Cardboard IDPA targets for us to hack at. You never know when we may be attacked by some cardboard human silhouettes. ;)

It would also be nice if we can do some videos.
 
In case I didn't state it earlier, I'd like to make it to this get together! If you could include me in any emails Frogfish, I'd sure appreciate it.
 
When is this going to happen on the 28'th?

If it's going to go late, I'll try to make it.

I can drop off some meat on the 27'th for the bar-b-que.

What knives will you all be bringing? I don't have anything rare or exotic but I will most likely bring my AK, FABM, BIBB, and a few others.

I will have to wait for frogfish to chime in about the times. Well we can always meet up for dinner for something like that if 6:30 is too late
 
Well if it is the 28th I'll have to see how much time I'd have that day.

I already know that I'd need to be back home by about 6:30 for a dinner.:grumpy:

You can join us from 2-4:30 pm then still have plenty of time to get back in time for dinner ;)
 
Ok guys here's what I was planning

Date Saturday July 28th

Start 3pm but that is flexible if want to make it earlier and I'm figuring it will go into the evening depending on how thing go.

Yes ban there is enough room to set up for doing some chopping and bringing some wood would be fine I'll try to figure out some way to hold it to be safe

As for stuff I'll supply the BBQ water and soft drinks your on your own for booze and stuff to BBQ also if you want to bring somthing to share salad bread chips etc that would be good Oh and I'll have plates, cups and utensils and some chili.

I'm sending out my address via PM in the next few minutes so if you don't get it and want to come let me know and add you to the list.

I plan on coming and will bring something to go with the meat.

I will also bring several Different vinatges of BMs with convexed edges for choping side by sides. BM-E ASYM edge, sharpened and polished, CGFBM thinned convexed edge, ZTBM Taken well past wicked into the genuine vampire slayer mode, and a fattyFBM with thinned convexed edge. I will also bring some show blades.

Gosh Darn it!! As it turns out this is my Wifes 50 th Birthday.... which I totally forgot about.... I can not come... She does not want to spend "her" day with a bunch of knife freaks. :grumpy:
