California Custom Knife Show (Oct 1-2)

Due to financial reasons, I won't make this one.
 
I'll be missing out since I'm flying out to Texas Saturday morning..... kinda glad though because I would be spending a lot of money if I do go.
 
one more week. Does anyone know if there is an upside to getting a ticket ahead of time? And if buying tickets at the door include a ridiculously long line?

There is now up side that I know of, last year there was a long line to get in but, not so bad once the door opened. Get there early I guess. Are you headed up there from San Diego to ?
 
yeah, i'll be leaving from SD. I'll probably call plaza and try and get my tickets, i hate waiting in lines :P
 
The line won't be that bad. It's actually a fairly small venue.

Last year, after about 15 minutes, there was no line. You just bought a ticket and walked in.
 
I will make it guys, with my twin boys in tow. Last year, one of my boys sliced his finger while closiing an auto. I took a picture because I got a kick out of it. I think the maker got nervous thinking I was gathering evidence against him. LOL. I will go on Saturday. I will be the tall goonie looking guy that walks funny even if my foot heals up.

I probably mentioned this before, but as I left the show (last year or 2 yrs. ago?) there was this dick head who wanted me to transfer my hand stamp onto his hand. Yeah, sure, I want to meld my skin with yours. What a tool. His gfriend looked mortified. I told him to pay or go home. He was probably in his 50's.
 
I would love to meet talk to anybody! I will be behind a table.

That is me on the left. My buddy and I night road cruise for snakes in Mojave, that was a fun night, we saw quite a few species. Don't worry, we put them back. I will not bring any snakes to the show. Make sure you give a shout out to CJ65. I plan on Saturday morning attending. I prolly will be out by noon or so.
