Just took a phone call from Yangdu. She had tried to post a message and got it lost - couldn't find it on the board - and asked me to post.

( It was the one on Bill being in the hospital - so she did get it posted )

Anyway he is in the hospital, is scheduled to have some scans, find out what blockage it causing probs, and maybe have some surgery to alleviate some of probs.

I'm out the door to go to Carson, then stop at St Mary's on the way home. Needless to say any and all prayerss, smoke and candles are in order.

Let you know what I find when I get back late tonite.

Please get the message to Bill-

Bill-You are the most beloved and respected person in any forum,
our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I´ll keep Uncle Bill in my mind, with my best wishes to him.

Thanks Rusty...another part of your job I don't envy...prayers for all.

just to be clear - this is not an emergency visit....correct?

don't want to raise any alarms...

Yes, Bill's not doin' so great...but he's not on death's door.....yet.

We're always at death's door, Dan. Sometimes that seems pretty sad.

Sometimes, when I ponder it, my own death seems a great relief. I guess it's easy to be selfish about losing those you love, though.

When you die, your work is done. Nothing more to do. When a loved one dies, it's much harder it seems to me :(
