Calling all dirks, daggers, stabbers, stillettos, seax, bowies, fighters, tantos, gladii!

Do it!

edit: almost bought a Ka-Bar... set me straight guys.

I own a Kabar USMC and a Sog seal pup elite. Both are well made production knives, with the magnificent history of the Kabar any collector can't go wrong owning one! With that said, if you're interested in fighters, I now shop for them in the forum exchange fixed blade section. They are more expensive than the production knives but are one of a kind and made by skilled craftsmen. You get what you pay for.

Why should you feel bad?

I think everyone is in Rio or something, maybe they'll all be back soon.

The 'hawk was forged by Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical fame. Its haft is curly maple.

AKB Folder all put together. Its about time to make some new scales for this thing aint it? Maybe some bone handles? I like the ideer of meteorite scales but they are so expensive at that size. Last I looked it would cost me $300-$400 semolians just for the raw material.

I like the Model 37 and AKB Folder big time.

I forgot who got first dibs on Ndg's AKB Folder, who was it? hmmmm....don't remember, it must be me then :D

Ndog put in some serious work on that AKB folder, and it's beyond beautiful, it's in a class all its own.

You got that right! Plenty of hours. Id say beyond hundreds. Davidf99 was the first to ask me about it but I cant sell it yet. Id have to make me another before I could do that. Soon as I get my shop set up ill get started on another. Im kinda thinking an 18" Sirupati folder though. Maybe spring assisted:D A 15" Bhakta AKB folder would be nice too!

Ndog, if we were takin' a vote on new scales, I'd have to say don't mess with perfection!

That IBBB folder is still one of the coolest things I've seen. Everything just flows so smoothly together. If a hand could drink a knife, that would be a cold glass of iced tea.

I agree. It's perfect as is.

BUT, I think he used 1911 grip mounts so he can unscrew and remove the old. Make knew ones and bolt them on.

That being said, I don't think I'd waste any time, it's really good as is.

Ka-Bar may not be the newest tac-fad, but it's been down the road....proved
itself many times over, and is more than worthy of your confidence...!
