I would like to plan a hack and slash event for sometime this summer, and i'd like to see a nice assortment of kin there. This would be a great opportunity to meet my fellow hogs, and give my AK a breaking in.

If you live in austin, San Antonio, or anywhere within driving distance, post up in this thread and let's work something out!

If this happens, i plan to have my first tamishigiri experiment with my AK47, so swords are a welcome addition. I'm also going to try to source some thick rope and some lumber for a chop off

I'm down!! We may get lucky with the temps this year and won't want to commit Seppuku with that AK under the blazing sun. If you have a local source for tamishigiri mats, let me know. I will bring my user, it's still new, butaniku along with some other katanas. Maybe this could be a good time to break in the new MOAB :)

I am in North San Antonio, actually slightly outside, off of 281. Is there already a meeting place picked out? Is it on a good chunk of land? Firearms too or just blades?
 
If i can get enough people together, there will be an entire thread of pics and vids. I'd like to have at least 4 or 5 hogs. I already have one friend locally who is an undercover hog. He doesn't do BF much, but he has a bigger collection than me by a good bit. He'll be there. Looks like Havoc is in. Beef says he's coming but he seems to be somewhat non-local so the breath will not be held on that one ;)

need MOAR HOGS!
 
I don't know about the summer. But I have tickets to Richard Cheese October 5th in Austin.
 
Are you sure you want video. If I start drinking in this heat I tend to lose apparel and unfortunately I look like I sat on a squirrel. Not a good image to have in your head.

Are we going to have to institute a dress code? I don't need nightmares to haunt me with visions of NMFBM wielding dehydrated squirrels chasing me trying to get my nuts

Just got back home last night from vacation in Arkansas (Knifenut paradise), just thought I would ask...

Are micro-pound-puppies welcome, or is this a Hog-only event? I'm out near SA, so I can probably make it if held on a weekend.

How about we keep the videos, but use black boxes to cover up squirrels, nuts and whatever sick metaphors you guys are using :)

If you come bearing sharpened steel, you are welcome in the extreme. It looks like we have more than a few interested. Now it's going to come down to WHEN
