Calling all ESEE Texans

Anyone in the Houston area is more then welcome to stop by next week for new years eve. We had a blast last year. Did A LOT of laughing. Just don't listen to anything TTD says. I don't ALWAYS spit my drinks on people.

I wanna meet TTD.

My friend's party will be at I-10 & Campbell. Not sure if I'd be able to just "stop by".

You know why Texas is windy, right?

Oklahoma Sucks.

(BTW--Not all of us like that place in Austin. Some of us went to better schools.)

EDIT--Texas knife pic.

Gig 'Em.

Yeah, well did you hear the one about the A&M Aggie that moved to Oklahoma....

Raised the IQ average for both states.

GUNS Up. GO TECH!!!

Cypress Texas here. Still trying to make my first camp out.

Just curious . . . Why Ft. Worth?

Not Fort Worth, around an hour south of it. It's nice and quiet and land is ALOT cheaper than our area. (Were about 10 minutes from you.)

We talk about moving too to get to more land, more space, less traffic . . . but my wife is too close to her family to move as far as you are looking. Probably go somewhere like Brenham.

Between Galveston and Houston. 'Bout thirty miles from either.

Man, this thread has gone way off. Needs some knife content. No ESEE yet, but I'll do mah best.

I know who made the knife...what about the bag? Truth is I should be making my gear I have 3...3 very heavy dity sewing machines.

Oh, I live in Texas. About three hours from Lubbock, San Antonio or Austin.

And on the hunting note...I had 1000 acres at my disposal up until about 1 month ago. Everyone I offered to come hunt...didn't come hunt.

On the subject of the bag - it's Swiss surplus, '53 vintage. I should track down a few more of them, it's been a faithful and durable schoolbag. Light steel frame, canvas and leather, all buckles. Love that feckin' bag.

Never hunted a day in my life. Never had the opportunity (nor the equipment or money for that matter). Being a college student really diverts the whole having a life thing. Can't complain. Better than being a working stiff. ;)

Aggies, Longhorns, Sooners, what's the difference. Devotion to a sports team never made much sense to me. Then again, neither does a bunch of men on a field playing with their balls.

I currently live in Fort Worth but I am moving to Denver for 14 or so months in January hopefully the Texas ESEE crew will still be partying down here when I return!

Tat I'm a bit older then 8th grade. I'm currently IN college and would like to finish before i turn..............40. Ugh it gave me the willies to type that.

LOL you young thing! 40 was awhile ago for me, and 50 is in my rear view mirror now! Don't have any current plans to go back to college though.

Y'all that think Houston area is too far to go for an ESEE campout, some of us come a fair distance, I live just east of Dallas, and 1066vik comes down from I think Kansas, the fun times are worth it!
