Me... sort-of. I write with both hands on this keyboard. But I write on paper with a pen in my left hand. I play baseball 'right' handed. I do woodcarving with both hands. I am 'equi-clumsy'. Handedness is not really a concern for me anymore.

The majority of homo sapiens are right-handed, showing a strong dominance of the use of the right hand in performing fine motor skills, and an inability to use the left hand to perform these same tasks. About 10% of all people call themselves left-handed, demonstrationg a strong preference to use the left hand for fine motor function. Only about 4% are truly 'left' handed in that they have difficulty using tools designed for a right lateralized world view.

The remaining 6% consider the rest of the human population to be somewhat disabled because they can not use both hands for anything.

I am not a lefty, but I do carry a lefty small Sebbie. This is because it wouldn't fit in the right pocket which is usually reserved for MT Socom.

I find my lefty Sebbie very usefull, especially when I want to thumb flick a knife while surfing BladeForums, for example.

I too am "sinister". Lefty. Spawn of the devil. And good at inertial opening to reverse grip thru carrying "normal" knives.

Left handed, although I do not feel handicapped with most right hand tools. I shoot handguns right handed, except the SAA which was designed for left hand use. shoulder arm, my preference is to shoot off my left shoulder but I am able to shoot off my right as well.

I carry my primary folder in my left hip pocket, and have yet to find one that I like that I can't open easily with a little practice.

I can even write with my right hand! I just can't read it later. (even the part that is on the paper)

Left handers are never right!Since the "Beach Blade",I've been carrying my Gunting in a handmade Kydex sheath on my right side, even though I am left handed.I carry an Axis 710 in my left front pocket.
As a side note, I learned to use my Katana in my right hand for the Sei Tei Iai Katas.I guess there were no left handed Samurai.

I'm semi-ambidextrous, I can only write with my left hand.
I am partial to the new clip model Spydercos since they are ambidexterous. Mines a Endura carried IWB on the left side.I wish all of their models were ambidextrous. ( ie Military,Lum)

another "leftie" here, today i carry a SOCFK
tomorrow a leftie Random task after that...
Emerson Commander
Elishewitz OM-5
Elishewitz OM-3
Elishewitz Parrot Beak
Terzuola ATCF
Small Sebenza
on my off day a Wenger SAK
All except the SOCFK are "LEFT HAND" Models

I am also LHed. I carry Benchmades with new Axis-Lock. I have the 710,(2)940,730,722,and 732. I also have a LHed 910 and 800.

I have called MicroTech on numerous occasions to inquire on LHed models. I guess my voice isn't strong enough on my own.

All of my fixed blades have LHed sheaths, either leather or Kydex.

And when you come to think of it, Lefties are the only people in their Right mind.

I'm as left handed as they come. I have tried the ambi. models put out made by those trying to add that extra 15% to their market but then I found the perfect answer. Camillus makes a true left handed version of the "Cuda". Not only is it a great knife but I have had a blast handing it to right (wrong) handed people and watching them fumble. Try it.

Paracelsus

etymological note: The origins of the word 'sinister' go back to Roman times (Latin). Left handed folks were thought to be evil, touched by evil spirits, unlucky, and just plain undesirable, thus our modern understanding of a word that really means simply 'on the left side'.

BTW as a lefty I usually carry right-handed knives because I carry a gun on my strong side

I'm left-handed. Learned leathercraft so I could have lefty sheaths for old fixed blades. Have two lefty folders- Kershaw miniTask and REKAT Pioneer. Mostly carry MT Kestrel in LH front pocket, have found it to be lefty-friendly. Will be soon picking up a true left-handed auto 'cuz I don't like to compromise. Sure wish MicroTech would break down and make something for us.

I feel your pain. My wife is a true left-handed person. We are trying to cope; all of our self defense guns in the bedroom have ambi-safties. She has her own scissors, and when possible, I buy things that cater to either hand. Knives have been a problem for her--like can openers, which are truly scary to watch her use. But she likes her Kershaw Boa, and opens it with her index finger.--OKG

I am a lefty, have lefty Sebenza, lefty Jim Pugh and carry a right handed Klotzli Walker design that opens nicely with a flip of my left thumb on top ramp, the linerlock is fairly easy to operate lefty also.

I have a BM 940, a BM 710, several BM 705's, and a Spyderco 440V Native that get carried regularly. Oh, a Pat Crawford Kasper Neck Knife as well.
