CALLING ALL LEFTIES !

I am not left-handed, but I am approaching ambidexterity.

I think there is a use for left folders for even us folks on the right.

Weak hand carry.

That is why I carry Spyderco Lockbacks. The hole is ambi, the lock is ambi, and on the FRN and some other models, even the clip is ambi.

I carry a couple of Cold Steel folders...A Medium plain Clip-Point Voyager (as my "using knife"), and an Extra-Large Gunsite, (the one that I hope that I NEVER have to "use").

Another Leftie here. At least, for daily (light) utility tasks I am. For that I use a MT UDT, or a Spyderco Delica, or in public my LM Wave. My right handed knives, are mainly larger tactical/utility knives: MT Socom, CRK Sebenza, Spyderco Military & Moran for example.

I am not a true lefty, but I can throw a baseball/football rather well left handed... hit a baseball left handed, cut/eat, shoot a gun, and kind of write with my left hand. Most knives I own I can operate equally well with both hands but a carry a lefty Benchmade CQ-7 on my left side most times...

ya i'm a lefty too !!! i have a Boa and a lcc on order hope they work i had to fool around with the knives i have now to get them comfortable the clip is always the problem to me

Lefty here too. I finally broke down and bought a LH Small Sebenza this past summer. Being a Sebbie and a true left-handed knife, suffice to say not much else has worked it's way into my pocket lately. I also own a BM AFCK 800SBTL, and numerous Spydies, all of which are lockbacks. I've yet to purchase a right-handed (liner-lock), and probably never will.

MAURICE, sell all your right handed knives and buy a small Left Handed Sebenza.

It's also fun to watch right handed people openning and closing it.

Definitely a lefty here.
It would really-really be nice if Microtech made the LCC in a left handed version !
Large left handed Sebenza is my main daily carry lately. left-hand random task is usually in a pocket. The early CMRT left-hand buck 110,112 conversions. I have a warm spot for Hubertus autos a very amby knive as well as some otfs.
Of course, in my world all Buck 110's and 112's are left handed

I write left-handed, and though my friends frequently verbalize their contention that this is a sign of mental retardation, I also use the "I'm the one in my right mind" quote.
Most things I can do with either hand, though I can't throw or swing a bat left-handed (which is weird, 'cause I can swing an axe or hammer left-handed just fine).
Doing things right-handed comes more naturally most of the time, and all my knives are right-handed. Thinking of changing the clip on my 940 to "weak" side, so I can quit stuffing the AFCK in the back pocket with the wallet. A very convenient feature.

i thought id throw in my comments, since im responsible for this thread.
i do almost everything right handed, except for writing.i open my knives with my right hand, using my left seems un-natural.guess i have to go buy a lefty folder, huh, try that sucker out.i dont mind knives being right handed, but i know for most of us,it does cause problems.of course,we lefties are more ambi than the right handed heathens,er, people..

id like to see more lefty knives out there.especially a lefty kiss.that would be awesome,id buy it in a heartbeat.
keep 'em coming guys, maybe we have a voice in this after all.

Hello to all my lefty bretheren

I am currently carrying a Benchmade G-10 720 Pardue axis lock. I got this one because the aluminum one only has clip placment for right handers. It's the Feb 2000 KOTM. I think I'll hold onto this one.

I know this will probably cause a new topic , but so be it.I am left handed with somethings but use my knife mostly right handed. The first time I made a chisel grind knife,I ground it on the opposite side it is normally done. Not intentionally but just up and started grinding.Afterwards I thought I had screwed up but I found that I had made one for a right hander.I think the standard grind you see is for lefties.Put one in your hand and feel it to see what I am saying.
